ID Research Symposium 2022 Call for Abstracts – deadline April 30

The Infectious Disease Division at Washington University will host its annual ID Research Symposium on June 17, 2022 at the Eric P. Newman Education Center form 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The deadline for abstract submissions is April 30th.

Acceptance notification of selected abstracts will be May 15, 2022

The ID Research Symposium will host guest faculty, Carlos del Rio, MD. Dr. del Rio is a Distinguished Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory University School of Medicine and Professor of Global Health and Epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health. He will discuss “what the COVID pandemic means for ID research priorities and ID researchers.”

The event will serve as a platform to collaborate, promote, amplify and showcase research work in our home institution; will serve as an opportunity to identify key collaborators in other subspecialties; bring basic science and clinical research together; and instill additional interest in Infectious Diseases in the young minds of trainees such as graduate students, post- doctoral fellows, medical students and residents.
