The Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) advances Dr. Hilary Babcock to the SHEA member category of Fellow of SHEA. The Fellow of SHEA category recognizes and honors those who have achieved professional excellence in healthcare epidemiology and infection prevention and control.
The Society looks to Fellows of SHEA as imperative voice in advancing the mission and objectives of the society and bringing about quality improvement in healthcare. Dr. Babcock is current president-elect of SHEA and will lead the society as president in 2019.
