Dr. Hong is currently a second year fellow. He finished medical school at University of Missouri in Columbia, MO and residency training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Hong’s current interests in ID are broad but is very interested to gain more experience/research in HIV care and sexual health.
“I chose WUSM for fellowship training because I was able to see how wonderful and supportive all the faculty and staff were during my time in residency here. Was obvious that whatever my interests in ID were, there would always be a mentor available to support those interests My favorite things to do in St. Louis are attending as many as St. Louis Blues/Cardinals as I can, exploring the growing food scene, and golfing at different courses around the city.”
