Sena Sayood is an associate medical director for the antimicrobial stewardship program at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Dr. Sayood performs clinical research with a specific focus on antimicrobial stewardship and clinical decision support. He is currently working on projects involving the deployment of stewardship interventions at the level of the community pharmacy. He is additionally involved in projects involving global antimicrobial stewardship. Dr. Sayood is creating and running the handshake antimicrobial stewardship service at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. In addition, he attends on the general ID consult service teaching fellows, residents, and students.
