Second year fellow, Kap Sum Foong, MD (center), receives SHEA Award

The Jonathan Freeman Scholarship was established by the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) to promote the training of outstanding infectious disease fellows who demonstrate interest in the field of healthcare epidemiology. His abstract entitled “Duplicative Urine Cultures in Hospitalized Patients: An Opportunity for Diagnostic Stewardship” is also accepted for a poster presentation at SHEA Spring Conference 2019, Boston.
