Nathan Nolan, MD, MPH completed his ID fellowship in 2021 and is currently an instructor in medicine in infectious diseases and a medical education fellow. Dr. Nolan has been appointed to the IDSA Medical Education Community of Practice (COP). The COP committee represents members of the IDSA working to support the community of ID clinician educators, enhance the teaching skills of IDSA members and support growth of infectious diseases health professions education scholarship.
Gayathri Krishnan, MD, second year ID fellow, has been selected to serve a three-year term on the 2021 IDSA Fellows Subcommittee beginning October 4, 2021. The Fellows Subcommittee serves as an advisory group responsible for providing input from a young ID professionals’ perspective to inform IDSA initiatives and committee deliberations. Subcommittee members also foster fellow, resident and medical student participation and membership in IDSA and provide feedback on issues related to fellowship training.
Dr. Krishnan has also been elected to the IDSA MedEd COP Mentoring Resources Work Group.
