Her current research interests and projects revolve around adverse events requiring hospital readmission in patients on outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy, impact of pre-implantation infection on outcomes following LVAD placement, and the impact of duration and spectrum of prophylactic antibiotics on infectious complications after left ventricular assist device implantation.
Dr. Chrisler joined the faculty in the Infectious Diseases Division in 2014.
