Washington University infectious diseases faculty and trainees met up for dinner at the 2023 Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) Spring Event hosted in Seattle, WA. Several trainees are training in the antibiotic stewardship program and infection prevention.
Armaghan-e-Rehman Mansoor, MD, 2nd year ID fellow, was awarded the Jonathan Freeman Scholarship by the Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA). The award recognizes outstanding infectious disease fellows who demonstrate an interest in healthcare epidemiology.
Dr. Mansoor’s primary research interest is in antibiotic stewardship, specifically in immunocompromised patients and in low resource settings. He is mentored by Jennie H. Kwon, DO, MSCI.
