Join Hilary M. Babcock, MD, MPH, Professor of Medicine, WashU Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases, BJC Healthcare Vice President and Chief Quality Officer, and other WashU Medicine faculty at the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) Spring 2026 conference. 

Dr. Babcock will give two talks at the conference: ‘The Value of Competition: Do Hospital Quality Rankings Improve Patient Outcomes?’ and ‘Leadership in IP and the Importance of Collaboration.’

The annual conference will include topics on healthcare epidemiology, antibiotic stewardship, long-term care, research methods, clinical microbiology, patient safety and quality, and implementation science. It will also provide a wide range of opportunities for networking with peers and experts in the field.

The four-day conference will be held in Chicago.
