Vanessa Kung, MD, PhD, is the Director of Infection Prevention for Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to joining WashU Medicine, Dr. Kung served as the Deputy Director of Infection Prevention & Hospital Epidemiology for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. Dr. Kung completed MD-PhD training at the University of Wisconsin, global health training at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), internal medicine residency at Emory University, and infectious disease fellowship at the University of Colorado.
