Dr. Curtis specializes in clinical infectious diseases, with a particular focus on diseases impacting pregnant people living with substance use disorders, such as HIV, hepatitis C, and syphilis. She enjoys working with fellows, residents, and students while attending on the general infectious diseases consult service. In the outpatient clinic, she provides primary care for people living with HIV and specializes in treating hepatitis C.
Dr. Curtis participates in the Bridge to Health program, which aims to connect patients with substance use disorder to appropriate care. Additionally, she is joining efforts to enhance the integration of infectious disease services within the Clinic for Acceptance Recovery and Empowerment in Pregnancy (CARE), a clinic that offers multidisciplinary care for pregnant people with substance use disorders.
