Jonathan Sheehan is an associate professor (research-track) in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine.
Dr. Sheehan specializes in personalized structural biology, with a special focus on the molecular basis of disease mechanisms. He uses computational methods to predict the 3D structures of proteins, to model protein-protein and protein-drug interactions, to predict the functional and thermodynamic effects of genetic mutations, and to investigate the structure-function relationship of proteins involved in cancer, genetic disorders, and infectious diseases.
